Mandatory Member Duties

Congratulations on becoming a member of Beta Alpha Psi! In order to remain an active member you must continue to complete the membership requirements every semester. Please find those requirements below:

1. You must complete 15 professional hours = 10 events.

• These professional hours can either be completed by attending 10 BAP sponsored  events or at least 5 BAP sponsored events and 5 non-BAP events.
• You must sign in at each event in order to receive credit for BAP sponsored events.
• In order to receive credit for non-BAP sponsored events you must email our Recording Secretary within 1 week of the event at rsec.bap@gmail.com.
• The email must include: name of event and date of event.
• You must receive a confirmation email from our Recording Secretary in order for you to receive credit for the event. If you do not receive a confirmation email please follow up.

 
    2.  You must also complete 10 community service hours.

• You may complete your community service hours by attending BAP related community service events.
• You must sign in at each event in order to receive credit.
• You may also complete your community service hours by attending non-BAP related community service events.
• In order to receive credit for non-BAP related community service events you must provide our Vice-President of Community Service with an official letter from the organization stating: the place of community service; the tasks you ompleted; the amount of hours you completed; the dates of your community service. Please make sure to include your email address on the envelope.
• You must receive a confirmation email from our Vice President of Community Service (VPcs.bap@gmail.com) in order for you to receive credit for the community service hours. If you do not receive a confirmation email please follow up.
